16 May (Thu): Westhampton, MA, KOA, where we are jacks down for the next 16 days after a 2,285-mile run from our Port Isabel, TX, home base, a trek that had us skedaddling ahead of or taking refuge from seemingly endless severe weather systems. Never knowingly putting Time Bandit in jeopardy, we took unscheduled lay days along the way as we rolled through parts of TX, LA, MS, AL, GA, TN, VA, WV, MD, PA, NY, and MA. Time Bandit took it all in stride as her crew aged a little faster. Whew, what a ride!!! |
