02 Apr (Thu): Port Isabel, TX. On target to roll west & north 11 April unless a diesel fuel shortage becomes reality. Cost is another matter. We’re not wealthy so the forecast $6.00+ gal is a bite but we’ll deal with it, availability our primary concern. Time Bandit carries 150 gal so she can cover about 950 miles between fuel stops and have about 15 gal left in the tank. We plan specific fueling locations days & miles ahead and since May 2020 have used a trucker’s discount card, saving an avg $0.519 gal. |
