	Volunteering by spending the winter in a horse barn at Frontier Park in Graham, WA. We were here last year in the winter also and they asked us to come back and installed full hookups in one of their show horse barns. Out of the weather till we leave here in the spring.

	23 Aug (Sat): Bellingham, WA. We have explored here several times but this visit is especially nice given the weather - sunny low 80s day/high 50s night - diametrically opposed to hot and/or stormy conditions gripping the rest of the nation. Occupied by Native Americans for thousands of years, in 1775 Spanish sailors landed and claimed the area but it was subsequently governed by Russia, England and the United States. We are camped between the bay to the west and glacier-clad 10,781’ Mt. Baker to the east.
