Volunteering by spending the winter in a horse barn at Frontier Park in Graham, WA. We were here last year in the winter also and they asked us to come back and installed full hookups in one of their show horse barns. Out of the weather till we leave here in the spring. |

23 Jun (Mon): Diamond Lake, OR. Lord have mercy!!! Eight days of no cell service nor TV so today when a neighbor let us use her Starlink signal to check bank accounts we discovered all hell has broken loose in the world. We are enjoying biking the 11-mile paved path around the lake and power walking through the forest. Our campsite views include Mt. Bailey’s round outline and Mt. Thielsen’s surreal spire peak. Winter’s grasp on the high country is slowly easing. On summer’s first day we awoke to snow. |
