	23 Jun (Mon): Diamond Lake, OR. Lord have mercy!!! Eight days of no cell service nor TV so today when a neighbor let us use her Starlink signal to check bank accounts we discovered all hell has broken loose in the world. We are enjoying biking the 11-mile paved path around the lake and power walking through the forest. Our campsite views include Mt. Bailey’s round outline and Mt. Thielsen’s surreal spire peak. Winter’s grasp on the high country is slowly easing. On summer’s first day we awoke to snow.
