Volunteering by spending the winter in a horse barn at Frontier Park in Graham, WA. We were here last year in the winter also and they asked us to come back and installed full hookups in one of their show horse barns. Out of the weather till we leave here in the spring.

Volunteering at Monte Vista & Alamosa NWR’s in Colorado. Now in the San Luis Valley which at 7600 ft high is the highest Alpine valley in the world capable of high quality agriculture. Crops are hay, alfalfa, barley for Coors, potatoes, beef cattle. Watering by large circles of sprinklers. Does anyone else use this any more? It was a fun idea to keep track of friends, but far too many postings haven’t changed in years. Location for our record is our Son’s house in Las Vegas. If you care where we are, send an email. John.m.ellsworth@gmail.com

HomeHQ. If you are passing by and need help I can try, I know the area. I can give you a 30 amp cord and water. Have to park on the street. Lot is small. Very quite neighborhood but for a school behind us, a few school buses and kids in the AM and PM. 2 days max.

05 May (Tue): Bryce Canyon Nat’l Park, UT, to 20 May after two weeks in Grand Canyon Nat’l Park, AZ, and 15.8 hiking miles along the South Rim Trail (in four segments), our fourth two-week visit. We still marvel at the canyon’s breathtaking grandeur. Weather was mostly sunny, 50s/60s day & 30s night, one day of rain/snow flurries. Today’s elevation gain from Glen Canyon Dam harnessing Lake Powell at Page, AZ, to a US-89 summit in UT = 4,062’. Nancy’s uphill steering and gearing talents are unequaled.
